Women in Photography Exhibit 2024
WIVA presented the debut Women in Photography 📸 art exhibit on display from March 1-30, 2024 at the Lake Travis Community Library in celebration of Women’s History Month. This exhibit featured thirty photographs from eleven local photographers, showcasing their diverse perspectives and talents as well as compelling photographic portraits of women subjects. Artist Reception took place on on Saturday March 9th from 1:30-3pm. The reason for this exhibit was to celebrate the annual Women’s History Month through creative photographic expressions highlighting women’s history, issues, and rights. Photographers of all ages were encouraged to explore themes of voting, equality, health, beauty, motherhood, and more, whether through abstract or realistic photographic representations.…

Women in Art Exhibit 2023
In the spring of 2023, WIVA presented the inaugural “Women in Art”, a very special art exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1-31, 2023 at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit of paintings, drawings, digital AI art and mixed media sculptures by local women artists was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. There was an Artist Reception on March 4th from 1:30-3pm at the library.
