Women in Art Exhibit 2023
In the spring of 2023, WIVA presented the inaugural “Women in Art”, a very special art exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1-31, 2023 at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit of paintings, drawings, digital AI art and mixed media sculptures by local women artists was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. There was an Artist Reception on March 4th from 1:30-3pm at the library. Artists included: Judy Baer, Lily Beard, Deby Childress, Vicki Erickson, Jenny Fouilloud-Hofmann, Penny Jamrack, Adriana Peña, Denise Schneyer, Sara Schumacher, Anna Thiele, Gail Threinen, VELD, and Lynn Zwern. We are dedicated to showcasing the incredible work of women artists in our vibrant community around the world.
