DESCRIPTION:Last Day to Enter!\nWomen in Visual Art (WIVA) is proud to present two inspiring curated exhibitions celebrating Women’s History Month in March 2025: Women in Photography and Women in Art. We invite you to share your artistry and submit your work for consideration in one or both of these annual exhibits. See below for more details on submissions. Deadline for entries is January 16\, 2025 at 5pm. \nIf you are a woman photographer or artist\, you are invited to submit your work for consideration in one or both of these renowned exhibits. As an added bonus\, WIVA Members will receive special recognition in these exhibits. Deadline to submit an application for either exhibit is January 16\, 2025 at 5pm. We hope you join in amplifying the voices of women and be a part of these inspiring celebrations of female creativity and empowerment!

The Hive Gallery\, with its stunning ambiance\, will not only showcase exceptional artwork but also host engaging demonstrations\, workshops and exciting events throughout the exhibition. \n\n\nWe invite you to join us at the Opening Party on February 3rd from 2-4pm and the Artist Reception on March 2nd from 2-4pm. Artist demonstrations will include Gelli prints\, Zentangle drawings and watercolors on February 3rd. On March 2nd\, we will enjoy the Wildflowers singers\, more art demonstrations and a hands-on art factory!\n\nAbout Women in Art 2024\n\n\n“Women in Art 2024”is a special two month-long art exhibition celebrating Women’s History from February 3rd – March 22nd at the The Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria. This creative exhibit showcases the largest ever array of paintings\, drawings\, sculptures\, mixed media\, and fiber arts by 68 talented local women artists was inspired by women’s history\, health\, beauty\, motherhood and equality.
