Women in Visual Art (WIVA) is proud to present two inspiring curated exhibitions celebrating Women’s History Month in March 2025: Women in Photography and Women in Art. We invite you to share your artistry and submit your work for consideration in one or both of these annual exhibits. See below for more details on submissions. Deadline for entries is January 16, 2025 at 5pm. If you are a woman photographer or artist, you are invited to submit your work for consideration in one or both of these renowned exhibits. As an added bonus, WIVA Members will receive special recognition in these exhibits. Deadline to submit an application for either exhibit is January 16, 2025 at 5pm. We hope you join in amplifying the voices of women and be a part of these inspiring celebrations of female creativity and empowerment!
National Wear Red Day

On the first Friday in February, join us as we wear red and help raise awareness of women’s No. 1 killer – cardiovascular disease. On National Wear Red Day, raise your voice, wear red and encourage others to do the same. Women at every age, stage and season of life need our support as we take on this health threat and together, we can make a difference. As women, our greatest resource is each other. Women in Art 2025: Opening Reception
Bee Cave Arts Foundation 12912 Hill Country Blvd #F160, Bee Cave, TX, United StatesWomen in Visual Art (WIVA) presents "Women in Art 2025," a special art exhibition celebrating Women's History from February 26th to March 28th at The Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria. This captivating exhibit showcases a diverse array of paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media, and fiber arts created by talented local women artists. Inspired by themes of women's history, health, beauty, motherhood, and equality, the exhibition offers a unique and thought-provoking exploration of the female experience. Join us for a special Artist Reception on March 1st, from 2 to 4:00 pm. Meet the artists, celebrate their work, and enjoy light refreshments at this free and open-to-the-public event. The exhibit will be open throughout March during regular gallery hours. Be sure to also visit the companion exhibition, "Women in Photography 2025," taking place at the Lake Travis Community Library in Lakeway from March 1st to March 29th. This showcase highlights the stunning artwork of local women photographers. Both exhibitions are part of WIVA's ongoing mission to champion the voices and talents of women in visual art.
